A Client Shares Their Heart With Us.

It began with a call, reaching out towards a friendly voice to guide us towards the best treatment for our senior Fur-baby. We weren’t familiar with a home vet, as we have always taken our babies outside of our home for vet care. The act traumatized not only our babies, but it also equally caused us to dread these days. We were met with a friendly voice and that assured us we had made the right call in reaching out. Dr. Klatt asked us to have our pet’s records sent over to her home office so she could understand the history and courses that have taken effect over the life of our Fur-baby. While we understood the outcome wouldn’t be a positive experience, as the time to say goodbye was nearing us. We knew our baby would no longer suffer in his last days, saying goodbye is NEVER easy.

Our thoughts were saddened with the reasons, why was Dr. Klatt not in our lives sooner? How could we have missed out on this service? Our thoughts also guided us towards a relationship that would be built from this point on for all our babies.

This visit was handled in the most professional way. Everything was explained to us. Not one matter was left unsaid. We were very well versed with the After Care Process. Dr. Klatt also took the time to witness where our baby would come to rest on our property. She explained the loss our other babies would deal with and guided us towards the best treatment to ease their transition. The care and consideration towards all involved assured us, we made a friend for life. We knew at that point this practice was the best choice for our family.

Dealing with the loss of our lifelong friends can be extremely stressful.  Finding a course of treatment can be equally as stressful.  The story in our lives and how we become pet parents can vary in so many degrees.  Our story began with the news of never having the opportunity to have children.  We have created a home to envelope the joy of our cats.  To some this may not easily be understood, but to us they are and will forever be our children.  Our Fur-babies.  I can now reflect over the years, the course of treatments and doors we walked through to care for our family.  Those days NEVER felt personal.  How could we truly understand the needs of our furry friends when they are not at all able to verbally communicate with us.  Creating an environment in our homes where they feel safe is the only thing they can relate to.

Time to go to the doctor. How do you explain to them? They have no idea what the outside world is?  In the car you go.  Into a place where the scent of strange animals exists, a sense they can most certainly understand! They cry, shake, and look up at you in the most pitiful way.  Insert broken heart here!!!  I always knew there had to be a better way, and we finally found one.

We said goodbye to three of our babies over the time we found Dr. Klatt.  Many years of love was given to us.  Our babies that have passed may have missed out on the amazing care that she had to offer, but her empathy and her life changing practice will forever be welcomed in our home. The ending needs they called for were met to our upmost satisfaction.

The Test, we (or) should I say our Fur-babies preform.  When the door opens to our home, it begins to come together.  Dr. Klatt entered a time ago, all babies were accounted for.  I’m sure you pet lovers out there know exactly what I am referring to, all who enter must love all who dwell.  Once they hide, you’re left with a great big question mark.  From day one, we all welcomed Dr. Klatt.

Today, Dr. Klatt has welcomed our new additions.  Today, Dr. Klatt will begin comprehensive treatment throughout their lives with us.  As our babies have put their trust in her, we are assured the same.  We chose to give our Fur-babies the best life can offer; we chose to have this love showered upon us in our home.  We will continue to keep them safe and without unnecessary stress.  We will rest in knowing their upcoming surgeries will be done at her home office surgery site.  They will be cared for on an individual basis.  They will not be exposed to extreme noises.  Unfamiliar encounters with other pets and the assembly line that our others have experienced in the past.  We have the power to choose who our babies see.  We have the power to love them and understand the needs as they show us in their mannerisms.  Our Fur-babies are our family, and Dr. Klatt is now our family too!
